George Summers, 67, of Bryant passed away on Friday, December 2nd, 2011. He worked in the trucking business and was the owner of Interstate Express in Sapulpa, Oklahoma for many years. After selling Interstate Express, he owned Tractors & More in Bryant. Upon retirement, he enjoyed his lifelong loves of the outdoors and fishing.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Lynne; his daughter Terri Summers and granddaughter Rachel Bell; his mother Edna Summers; his sister Tina (Dennis) Milligan; his brother Bobby (Diane) Summers; his nieces Tiffany Milligan Brown and Candie Summers; his nephews Robby Summers, Scott Summers, Andy Summers and Chad Brown; 3 great-nieces; 2 great-nephews and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss him dearly.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Tuesday, December 6th, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home with Brother Ed Stevenson officiating.
