GEORGE T. EARDLEY of Little Falls, a loving father and husband, passed away Saturday at age 67. He devoted his life to teaching Spanish and French and was always extremely proud to have positively changed the lives of many students along the way, many of them keeping in touch with their "Señor" Eardley until his passing and others having chosen the same career path because of him. George previously taught at Northern Highlands Regional HS, Montville High, Montclair High and, for over twenty years, at Ridgefield Park High. He enjoyed poetry, literature, terrible B horror movies, polka music and travel. He was fortunate enough to have visited Portugal, Russia, The UK, Poland, Mexico, France and the home of his dreams, Spain. He leaves his wife, Candace of 36 years, his son Marc, his brother, Thomas and nephews Timothy and Robert, and beloved Godaughters: Alicia, Dawn, and Magdalena. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012 from 7-9 pm at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105. Visit www.bizub.com for driving directions/ online condolences.
