Grandpa,

You will be missed. You taught me many important lessons about life, and how we should treat, love, and respect others. I hold onto fond memories of traveling around the country with you to take pictures, and staying up late while you worked in you're darkroom developing pictures!

I know you loved ALL of you're family dearly, and you showed it through you're actions!

I'll always remember the times I spent at the kids table during holidays at my great grandparents’ house overlooking San Francisco. I remember as a child being intimidated by my great grandfather because he was so wise and intelligent. That anxiety quickly dissipated with his warm embrace and charming stories. I admired him for being a self taught man that never stopped exploring new adventures like his photography and leather work. His passion for photography was passed on to me

His passion for photography was passed on to me when he allowed me to use his camera during high school photo class. He was a fascinating man and was always exploring new adventures. He was excited to learn and shared that excitement with others. One of the last times that I saw him, we walked through his back yard and he was showing me a lemon tree that he had grafted to another tree. I remember my amazement as I pondered the possibilities and I was so impressed with his new and creative hobbie. George was a great man who taught all of us so much. He taught me to never stop learning, to feed my curiosity with knowledge and work hard to be my best. He taught me to embrace the little adventures all around us, to love my family and to live in every moment.
