Georgia E. Price, age 92, of 222 Parkview Street, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away, Monday, January 30, 2012, at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, in Plymouth. Georgia was born on May 13, 1919, in Argyle, Kentucky, to George and Ester (Garrett) Elliott. Georgia became the bride of James R. Price on February 6, 1940, in South Bend, Indiana. They raised their five daughters and one son together. Georgia was a Cub Scout Den Mother, worked at Slicks Laundry in South Bend, Indiana, Controls, in Winamac, Indiana, Jonie's Furniture in Wakarusa, Indiana, and helped her husband James, as a flagman, for many years. Georgia was a wonderful mother, wife, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Georgia is survived by her son, James E. (Karen) Price of Winamac; her daughters, Carol A. Price of Wakarusa, Jean Keller of Monterey, Indiana, Joan E. Smith of Winamac, and Corrine Czech of Plymouth; her sister, Julia Oswald of Niles, Michigan; 17 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Price on November 9, 1995 and her daughter, Sharon Kay Price, in 2003.
