1928-2010

Gerald Dean Peterson passed away August 29, 2010 at home. Born March 20, 1928 in Salt Lake City to Lester E. and Edna T. Peterson. Attended Granite High School. Married Marion Lorene Christensen May 7, 1947 later divorced. Married Norma Braithwaite who preceded him in death.

He loved fishing, hunting, painting and cooking.

Survived by his children Jackie (Gerry) Larsen, Bobbi (Byon) Norris, Cari (Jeff) Peterson and Richard (Sunny) Peterson. Fifteen grandchildren and forty six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughters Penny Peterson and Peggy (Howard) Kocher.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 11:00 am at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Drive. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 S. Highland Drive from 6-8 pm.
