Johnston, Gerald Eugene, 80, of Pinellas Park, FL, went to heaven on October 12, 2011. He was in the Navy from 1948-1952 and was aboard one of America's most decorated naval ships, the USS Radford 446. He was the shop manager of a shell oil company for 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 40yrs, Elizabeth Johnston; children Laura Marie Johnston, Gerald E. Johnston, Jr., David R. Dillard, Sharon K. Matosky, Deborah L. Dillard, Richard A. Dillard; sisters Elizabeth Eden and Lucille Drake; 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please send donations to disable veterans.
