PEMBERTON, Geraldine L. "Gerry" – of Clio, age 71, died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial will be at Cook Cemetery, Taymouth Township. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1-9PM and on Saturday from 11 AM until time of services at 1 PM. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Gerry was born July 18, 1940 in Flint to the late Howard and Leota (Porter) McKay. She married Dell Pemberton on January 17, 1959 in Burton. Mrs. Pemberton retired from the Secretary of State. She attended Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church and was a member of the Red Hat Society, Hale Chapter. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, reading, dancing and doing puzzles.
Surviving are: husband, Dell; children, Rhonda (Tom) Quint, Desiree Decaire, Yvonne Pemberton, and Terri (wife of deceased son, Rick) Pemberton; grandchildren, Lisa Yott, Matthew Yott, Timothy Gibson, Joshua Pemberton and Jacob Pemberton; great grandchildren, Dylan Yott and Madison Murphy.
