Mrs. Geraldine Bennett Morgan Stewart, age 88, of Stockbridge, GA passed away December 7, 2011. Mrs. Stewart was born in Cumming, GA the daughter of the late Elmer Augustus Bennett and Mary Ann Cruse Bennett. She was an active member of Jodeco Baptist Church. She worked in retail sales at Rich's Department Store in downtown Atlanta most of her working career. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, cooking and canning, and working on genealogy. She was preceded in death by husbands, Robert Hugh Morgan and Mark Twain Stewart and several siblings. Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Kay Ellen Morgan of Hampton and Dennis and Elaine Morgan of Jackson; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Mrs. Stewart will be Saturday, December 10, 2011 – 12:00 noon at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Cumming, GA.
