Mrs. Gertrude Cobbs Wilson

Gertrude “Aunt Bay” Wilson was born August 10, 1932 in Marshall, Texas to Johnnie and Azzile Cobbs, Sr. Gertrude spent most of her childhood and adolescent years in Marshall, Texas before settling in Dallas, Texas. During this time she met and united with Charles Wilson who preceded her in death. As we all know Gertrude had a zest for life and enjoyed entertaining. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Gertrude is preceded in death by husband, Charles Wilson; parents, Johnnie Sr. and Azzile Cobbs; one brother, Johnnie Cobbs Jr.; survived by one sister, Georgia Cobbs; although she didn’t have any children of her own she leaves many memories with her nieces; nephews; great nieces; great nephews; other relatives and friends.
