Virginia Faye "Ginger" Harris, 64, of Bryant passed away on December 26th, 2011. She was born in Little Rock to Edward and Virginia Priest on March 6th, 1947. She was a member of Vimy Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. Ginger enjoyed traveling and trips to Tunica. She loved the time she spent with her family especially her grandkids and great grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Allen Harris.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother Virginia; her daughters Gina Harrelson and Deanna Ward and her husband Pat; her siblings Charles (Sandra) Priest, David (Pam) Priest, Sammy, Tony and Dale Priest and Kelli (George) Wyatt; her grandchildren Robby Brannan, Karissa (Jonathan) Thomas, Lisa Craig, Jessie Scroggins, Jacob, Julie and Jenna Ward; her great grandchildren Joshua Thomas, Harris Thomas and Brent Johnson and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 29th, at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home with burial to follow in Butler Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28th at the funeral home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, AR (501)455-1067.
To honor Ginger's love of dogs, memorials may be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society.
