Giovanni Quigley, age 63, died suddenly at home in Florida, on Tuesday, February 23, 2010.
Born January 22, 1947, in Strabane, Ireland, Giovanni was the third of three sons to Natalie Rossi and Thomas Quigley,.
A graduate of St. Gerards Academy in Glasgow, Scotland, he had a 40-year career in the airline industry. He worked 22 years for Pan American airlines in London and Prestwick and latterly with Delta Airlines in New York. He traveled extensively throughout the world.
Giovanni will be especially remembered for his quick wit and spirit of adventure,
Giovanni is survived by his wife, Susann, three children, Kerry Theresa, Paul Anthony and Francesca Maria; three grandchildren, Jessica, Shiro and Miro; and brothers Antonio of Glasgow and Angelo of Donegal, N. Ireland.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 1, at Trinity Memorial Gardens, State Road 54 in Pasco County. Burial will be held in private following the service. Relatives and friends are welcome at the service at 11:30 a.m. and afterwards at his home in Spring Hill, Hernando County.
