MILLERSBURG- Gladys I. Rothermel, age 84, of 428 Berrysburg Road passed away on Saturday, March 12 at her residence. She was born in Rife, PA, the daughter of the late Irvin and Mildred Forney Shiffer. She was retired from the former Johnson-Bailee shoe factory and a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Rife. She was the widow of D. Frank Rothermel. Surviving are three sons Richard C. Rothermel and his wife Barbara of Millersburg and Ronald L. and his wife Roberta of Millersburg , Robert and his wife Debra of Loysville, a daughter Diane Stoneroad and her husband Darryl of Millersburg , four siblings Irvin C. Shiffer of Millersburg, Edna Mae Bonawitz of Halifax, Cloyd Shiffer of Wilson, NC, Betty Matter of Millersburg, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, March 17 at 11:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church in Rife. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family in the church cemetery. Donations can be made to her church at PO Box 415 Millersburg, PA 17061 or to Pinnacle Health Hospice 2645 N. 3rd St. Harrisburg, PA 17110. Arrangements by Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg.
