Gladys L. Pecsek, 85, of Knotts Island, NC, passed away on September 23, 2011. Gladys was born on February 4, 1926 to Burlie W. and Sallie C. Lowry. She was the widow of George Pecsek. Gladys is survived by her sons, George L. Pecsek and his wife Gloria of Perry Hall, MD and William L. Pecsek and his wife Signe of Chesapeake, VA. Also surviving her are four grandchildren, Eric Pecsek, Jason Pecsek, M. Adam Pecsek, and Kendall Parris; and two great-grandchildren, Anthony Bannan and Ardin Parris. Gladys was a member of the Chesapeake Seventh Day Adventist Church. At her request, her body will be cremated and the service will be private.
