Gladys O. Hillenbrand
December 6, 1922 – December 17, 2011

Mrs. Gladys O. Hillenbrand, 89, of Huntsville passed away Saturday. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joseph Hillenbrand; William and Katherine Osborne; sister, Carolyn Osborne, brother-in-laws, Lee Schmidlin, John Hillenbrand and William Danner. Mrs. Hillenbrand is a graduate of Elizabethton High School in Tennessee and Steed Business College. She worked for the War Production Board during WW2 in Washington, DC and the selective service board in Elizabethton, TN.
Mrs. Hillenbrand is survived by her sons, Steve Hillenbrand and Jim Hillenbrand; sister, Joyce Schmidlin; grandchildren, Laurel, Andy, Boone and Keri; great grandchildren, Alex, Krista and Camryn.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior to service. Valhalla Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
