Glen was born on September 30, 1931 and passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2010.

Glen was a resident of Fort Scott, Kansas at the time of his passing.

He graduated from Butler High School in 1949.

He served in the United States Navy as a fire control technician aboard the U.S.S. Laws during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife Patsy.

Jim Herman will conduct funeral services for his father, Glen Herman, at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 9th, in the Church of Christ, 1900 S. Margrave. Burial will follow in the U. S. National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Cheney Witt Chapel. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Navy Honor Guard.

Memorials are suggested to either the Kansas City Hope Lodge or Hospice Care of Kansas and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, PO Box 347, Fort Scott, Kansas 66701.
