Slagle, Glenn Edward—age 68 of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at his home. He was a member of Second United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by father and mother; daughter; 2 sons; 3 sisters; 2 brothers. Survived by wife, Marsha A. Stevens Slagle; sons, Jon Slagle and Randy Slagle; 6 grandchildren and special grandson, Chance Slagle; sister, Juanita Beeler; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday at Stevens Mortuary and then go in procession to Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 2:30 p.m. graveside service and interment. Pallbearers will be Jon Slagle, Robert Hickman, Patrick Hickman, Michael Gallman, Brian Guinn, Chris York, and Charles Merriman.
