Born December 2, 1916. Passed away October 5, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Grubb was a life -long resident of Mesquite, Texas and worked for Mobil Oil Company all his adult life. He was also a life -long member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mesquite. He served his country in the Army during World War II . Glenn L. is preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty -three years, Emaline Miller Grubb and by his parents and three sisters. He is survived by three children Jerry C. Grubb, Mary Ann Alderman and husband Larry O. and Linda Riley and husband Rev. John W. , four grandchildren Trey Grubb, Hayden Riley, Jon Grubb , and Leah Aschmann and by seven great grandchildren. Family visitation will begin at 12:00noon, Saturday prior to the service. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Anderson-Clayton Chapel with Rev. John W. Riley officiating. Interment to follow at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Mesquite, or to the charity of your choice.
