Gloria Jean Johnson, 63 of Springhill, Louisiana passed away Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the Fountain View Care and Rehab Center in Springhill.
She was born March 29, 1944 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to the late Albert Christopher Shelton and Lydia Viola (Hastings) Reppo. She was a former employee of Pittman's Nursery and a member of Lake Erling Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Christine Hamilton.
She is survived by two sons, Roger Johnson and wife Debbie, Rodney Johnson both of Sarepta, Louisiana; one sister, Trudy Mickens of Cullen, Louisiana; six grandchildren, Jared Johnson, Kricket Johnson, Lydia Johnson, Brande Johnson, Leah Johnson, Laken Johnson; two nieces, Krisanne Gunn, Vickie Stephens; and three nephews, Michael Mickens, Stephen Mickens and Billy Gene Hamilton.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Springhill, Louisiana with Bro. Phillip Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at Welcome Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Springhill. Family visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Kricket Johnson, Jared Johnson, Stephen Mickens, Michael Mickens, Matthew Stephens, and Joey Stephens.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Gene Hamilton, Thomas McDonald, Greg "Taco" McDonald, Joshua Gunn, Timmy Gunn, and Richard Smith.
