Gloria May Mulkey, 65, a native of Portsmouth, VA, and the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret Wilson, passed away December 15, 2010, after losing her battle with ALS. She was employed by Macy's in the fine jewelry department for fifteen years. Gloria is survived by her husband, Ted; and her daughter, Margaret Gay and husband Rich. She is also survived by two sisters, Lilly Marie Johnson and Nita Wessing; and one brother, Harry Joe Wilson. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel by Rev. Tommy Taylor. Burial will be at Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the ALS Foundation, 1275 K St. NW, Washington DC 20005.
