Gordon Julian Enga, 86, of the 500 block of Whitehaven Court, Chesapeake, VA, passed away August 25, 2010, in his home. A native of Westerheim Township, MN, he was the son of the late Nicholai and Mable Enga. He retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a Ship Surveyor after 25 years of service. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and a US Army veteran. He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Mildred M. Enga; three sisters, Arlett Jones of South Mills, NC, Norma Serumgord and husband Harold of Minneapolis, MN and Joan Mosher of Beltrami, MN; three brothers, Lee Enga, Edwin Enga and George Enga, all of Minneapolis, MN; several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Hazel Brandon of Chesapeake, VA; and his devoted caregivers, Angela Davis, Stephanie White and Tracey and Tess. Special thanks to the staff at Immanuel Care & Medi-Home Hospice. A graveside service will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens with Pastor Rick Gates officiating.
