It's been 15 years old friend. Last night you were in my dreams, I haven't thought about you for years, and suddenly there you were. I woke up this morning and google searched you to say hello.
I see now what you were telling me. I'm sorry for your passing old friend. We made a great team. I have always held our friendship dear in my memory. Our time together was bright and you made our work fun.
Life is full of quirks and it's strange how we intersect on our lives.

Dear Whitney, I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of your loss of Gordy. I met him in 1991 when I went to work for the Builders & Contractors Exchange and he worked for Gibson Equipment Co. Gordy was truly a unique and special person. He had a zest for life that was truly amazing. His positive, uplifting demeanor was an inspiration to me. I don't believe he ever met a stranger. I found his warmth and generous character toward all to be very uplifting. I will miss your dad very much.

It was my pleasure knowing Gordy while he was in sales at Gibson Equipment. Gordy was wonderful to my daughter when she was just a little girl. From time to time, he would come by the house with a new collectible Beanie Baby. She remembers him vividly as he would join her in her playroom, to play house, drink pretend tea, and flip his eyelids inside out. To this day my daughter, now 17, remembers him clearly and fondly. We spend many years as parents standing in the heat the cold and the rain all watching the girls we loved playing soccer and being cheered on by Gordy. Dear Jerry & Whitney, I was so shocked to hear of Gordy's accident. I would like you to know just how special he always was to me. But,I loved every minute of it. Then there was the time my Mom and Dad took me to the World's Fair in NY. We spent the night at Uncle Gordy & Aunt Jeannet's house. I shared a bedroom with Gordy (twin beds). That was it for me, I was head over heels in love with him then. We wrote to one another often when I was in HighSchool, especially while he was in VietNam and Cambodia, he always called me "COZ" and I always told him to keep his head down.
