Grace Beers, 98, of Easton, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the Easton Hospital, Wilson Borough, PA. Born in Harmony Township, NJ on August 2, 1912, she was the daughter of the late John and Cora Duckworth Howell. Mrs. Beers was a homemaker who enjoyed baking and especially gardening. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Marcus Beers, who died in 1975; two sons, Lloyd Howell and Kenneth Beers. Surviving are two children, Vivian Shuvelky of Hope, NJ and Harold Beers of Alpine, NY; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
