Boone, Grace "Helen", 79, passed away September 12, 2011. She was a member of Andover United Methodist Church and the Esther Circle Group. Helen retired from the Andover School District. During her career there, she was Andover's Kansas Master Teacher of the Year. She was an officer in the Butler County Association of Retired School Personnel (BCARSP). She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and a granddaughter, Corine Jones. Helen is survived by her husband, Forest Boone; children, Glenda (Brent) Jones, Jim Boone, and Beth Boone; brothers, Oscar Edwards and Jim Baskins; and grandsons, Jordan Jones and Tristan Jones. A memorial service will be held at Lakeview Funeral Home on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 10 am. Memorial contributions may be made to the BCARSP Scholarship Fund, 235 Sunset Dr., Andover, KS 67002.
