Graham Scott Raff Graham Scott Raff, beloved son, grandson, father, husband, brother, and friend, joined his Heavenly Father on August 6, 2008. He will be greatly missed by a large and loving family as well as many deeply treasured friends. Graham was born in Austin on July 25, 1977. Blessed with abundant energy and an impish smile, Graham was the kid everyone wanted to play with. He was proud of and careful with his younger sisters and, on occasion, needled his sisters in the way only a big brother can. He collected comic books and baseball cards. As a child, he loved learning to play golf from his grandfather. He covered the field with long strides as a lacrosse player in high school and college. As an adult, the grown-up golf pro loved helping his father work on his wayward swing. Graham was an active member of the youth group at First Baptist Church. Many of the friends he made there remained important to him throughout his life. Graham lived his life with commitment. As a PGA member and Assistant Golf Pro at Balcones Country Club, Graham was responsible for managing the pro shop and inventory as well as coordinating tournaments on both courses. He gave many private lessons and was noted for being a knowledgeable, friendly, and patiently encouraging golf instructor. In recognition of his talent as a teacher and his engaging way with children, Graham was asked by the club to give youth golf clinics. He got joy, and brought joy, by helping others learn how to play the game. He also lived his life with passion. Whether it was hugging his children, hunting with buddies, playing golf, skydiving, skiing a black, or reading about history and science, Graham invested his entire heart, mind, and sprit. He wanted to make a difference in people's lives, and in that, he was successful. Graham's life and legacy touched countless people, and we all have been changed forever by knowing and loving him. Graham is survived by his parents, Carol Morgan, and John and Linda Raff; grandmother Mary Morgan; his children Ethan Scott Raff and his mother, Graham's beloved fiancée Tiffany Frith, Trinity Morgan Raff, and Katelynn Frith; sister Adrianne Pardue and husband Thomas; sister Jessica Hernandez and husband Gabe and son Lukas, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel with interment following at Austin Memorial Park. Obituary and guestbook online at wcfish.com
