Graziella Hernandez Bruna on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Age 86 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Carlos Jose Bruna for 46 years. Mrs. Bruna is survived by her loving children: Sylvia Alvarez Hernandez of Santiago de Cuba; Iliana Morgan and her husband Theodore of Marrero; and Charles Bruna and his wife Debbie of LaPlace. She is survived by her 7 grandchildren: Fatima, Michel, Ashley, Theodore, Jr., Alexsa, Lisa and Rachael. Mrs. Bruna is also survived by 5 great grandchildren: Alicia, Justin, Jr., Halie, Zachariah and Kaitlyn.
She was the daughter of the late Rodolfo Hernandez Giro, who was an accomplished and famous Cuban artist and teacher and the late Alicia Font Hernandez of Cuba. Mrs. Bruna was the sister of Alicia Hernandez Rodriguez of Florida.
Mrs. Bruna received her teaching degree at the University of Havana, Cuba. She and her family immigrated to the US in 1967 and she dedicated her life to her family. She will be remembered for her strength, her courage and her beautiful smile.
