THOMPSON - Greg Thompson, age 70, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in Albuquerque, after a long illness. Greg is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patricia; sons, Roger Garcia and Casey Thompson and his wife, Francine; grandchildren, Adalyn, Gage, Lola and Gianna; and sisters, Pat and Vicki. Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Vada Thompson. He was born and raised in Crosby, ND, and made his way to Albuquerque through his work in construction. He and Patricia were married in 1979. Greg co-owned New Mexico Underground Contractors, Inc. He was well known by the staff at Weems Gallery, because he had a love for art. Greg also loved animals. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to many. Greg will be missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2012, 11:00 a.m., at French - Wyoming Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
