Grover Cleveland McGuire, Jr, 39, Lathrop, MO passed away June 23, 2011 at his home. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 P.M., Sunday, June 26 at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home, Liberty, MO. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 27 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
Grover, or Cleve as he was affectionately called by his family was born September 2, 1971 in Smithville, Missouri. He was a 1989 graduate of Liberty High School. While growing up in Liberty he was a member of FFA and 4-H. He was a talented carpenter and framer by trade for over 20 years. Cleve always loved the outdoors and especially hunting and fishing. He was always ready to help his family and friends. Preceding him in death were his father, Grover Cleveland McGuire, Sr. and sister, Amy Diane McGuire. Survivors include his mother, Edythe Weber and her husband, Jim; daughter, Anesa Little; brother, Tim McGuire; two sisters, Tracy Geier and her husband Dicky and Terri Snelling and her husband Matt; step-brother, Brad Weber and wife Allyson and step-sister, Shelly Graham and her husband Robert; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
