Guy L. Smith, Jr., 70, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Detroit, MI, Guy worked as an Accountant with General Electric for 31 years. He was an Air Force Veteran who received his Bachelors of Science degree from Indiana University. Guy was a member of First Wayne Street United Methodist Church and a long time member of the choir. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Lynda Dunn Smith of Fort Wayne; sons, Brian G. Smith of Fort Wayne, Daniel (Jennifer) Smith of Chicago, IL and Gregory (Patricia) Smith of Los Angeles, CA; granddaughter, Victoria Smith; and grandson, Grayson Smith. Guy was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Lane Smith and mother, Virginia V Smith; grandson, Tyler Smith. Service is 10:30am Monday at First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, 300 E. Wayne Street, Rev. Greg Enstrom officiating, with calling one hour prior. Visitation Sunday 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue.
