Harold Creighton "Hal" Winters, 72, of Alexander passed away on Monday, August 22, 2011. He was born on August 28, 1938 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Harold C. Winters, Sr and Macel (Bragg) Winters. He proudly served his country in the Air Force and was retired from Honeywell. Hal was a creative person, who was happiest when there was sawdust on the floor. He could build almost anything electronic including the microwave he built his wife and the game system he built his boys back before game systems even existed. Hal attended 65th Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of over 47 years Louise; his sons Craig and Chris and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss his smile and his loving personality dearly.
A celebration of Hal's life will be held on Friday, August 26th, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Ar 72002. (501)455-1067. Inurnment with military honors will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
