Hannibal "Scott" Saldibar of Fairmont Avenue New Haven died January 18, 2010 in the West Haven Veterans Hospital. He is the husband of Eleanor Farace Saldibar. Mr. Saldibar was born in West Haven August 3, 1926 a son of the late Hannibal and Catherine Nardo Saldibar and was a self employed tile setter. He is the father of Gail Acquarulo and her husband Andrew. Grandfather of Andrew Colin Acquarulo. Brother of John Saldibar and the late Teresa Melillo, Eleanor Robinson, Amelia Witkowsky, Margaret Fabiani, Louise Miller, Mary Wenrich, Catherine, Joseph, Peter, Paul, William and Burton Saldibar. Funeral from the IOVANNE FUNERAL HOME INC., 11 Wooster Place Thursday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael's Church at 10. Burial in St. Agnes Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society PO Box 1004, 538 Preston Avenue, Meriden CT 06450.
