Harlene Elizabeth Burge of Hot Springs, formerly of Little Rock, 89, passed away on August 1, 2011. She was born on June 14, 1922 in Guy, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Lawless C. Burge. Mrs. Burge’s home was always full of neighborhood and school friends of her two sons. She will be missed by her family and many friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sons Paul Burge of Hot Springs and Frank B. Burge and his wife Pam of Destin, Florida; her granddaughter Beth Tate and her husband Ben and her great grandchildren Blaine and Baylor; her grandson David Burge and a host of nephews, nieces and extended family.
Special thanks to her very special friend and caregiver Pat Foshee.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 3rd at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 N. Highway 5, Alexander, Ar 72002 (501)455-1067.
Memorials may be made to the Garland County Humane Society.
