Harold Joseph Dalio passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the age of 84. Beloved husband for 45 years of the late Avis Patricia Robinson Dalio. He is survived by his children Eileen Dalio Bush, Brian Dalio (Debi), and Andrew Dalio (Jennifer); grandchildren Matthew Bush, Kathleen Hansel (Michael), and Adelaide Dalio as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Golden Dalio; siblings Anthony Dalio, Nancy Stagno, and Natale Dalio; son-in-law Murray Bush.
Harold served in the United States Navy during WWII. He graduated with a B.S. in Engineering from Tulane University in 1949. Harold retired in 1987 from Avondale Shipyards, where he was the Chief Electrical Engineer. He was a life member of IEEE and The Marine Club of New Orleans.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Visitation will begin at 12 noon until service time. Interment will be private.
