Harold Clifton Patterson, 71, of 526 Gravely Road, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2011 at his home.

Born in Pickens, he was the son of the late Eulistus and Mamie Howard Patterson.

Harold was a Logger and of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are his loving wife of 47 years, Nellie Holden Patterson, his son, Harold W. (Cathy) Patterson; his daughters, Linda (Melvin) Durham and Anita (Allen) Owens, all of Pickens; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He is also survived by his brothers James C. Patterson and Larry (Sybil) Patterson, all of Pickens; his sister-in-law, Bertha Patterson, of Liberty; and also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Carl Patterson; and his sisters, Hattie Mae Holder and Virginia Worley.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 8pm at the funeral home.

The family is at the home.
