When they made their way to Judy's grave, there was a beautiful pot of flowers, with a note saying "I still remember." It was signed - "Hank" That meant so much to us. Thank you for sharing Hank with the world of friends he has made.

As we all know Hank was quick to joke around. One time, we went to a restaurant to eat. The server, who was obviously new, came to the table with a bottle of wine to offer us a sample. We declined, and the server left with the drink order, but he left the bottle of wine on the table. When the server returned with our drinks, Hank said, with nary a smile, "You might want to wipe off the top

As we all know Hank was quick to joke around. One time, we went to a restaurant to eat. The server, who was obviously new, came to the table with a bottle of wine to offer us a sample. We declined, and the server left with the drink order, but he left the bottle of wine on the table. When the server returned with our drinks, Hank said, with nary a smile, "You might want to wipe off the top of the wine bottle. We all took a swig while you were gone." Of course, the server's head whipped around with an incredulous look. We all began laughing and told the server that Hank was kidding. But, the server did take his cloth and wipe the bottle.

Boy Hank, it's hard to believe you're gone. We had so much fun!
Mostly at each other's expense, though, now that I think of it, we had a lot of fun at the expense of others as well.

All these years have passed and yet.....every time I see someone pour ketchup all over a plate of homemade tamales that someone's mom slaved over a hot stove to make, I think of you.

I will always remember Hank praying for his boy's in Sunday mass Steven was little and he got a kick out of it when I told him it was the Cowboys he was praying for. Nick and Fina I know it is a hard time right now but we are all praying for you love you guys and your Dad will be truly missed love love your cousins Agnes,Rich,Steven and Malarie And Big hugs and kisses From Tia Pablita.

Sorry for your loss ! Hank and I go back to Motorola day's, how time fly's. Know he will always be remembered for the kind of person he was. When you guys were growing up he would always invite my daughter & I to your gatherings for special occasions which made him a very special person! He will be missed.

Though our parents drifted apart, I have many fond memories that include family portraits done by Dale, playing with Hank & Barbara, both in Coffeyville and Albuquerque...and the surprise, Dan ;not to mention dear Martha. My parents, Ted and Rhea Burke are now gone as is my brother, Vic but one of our favorite family stories was of Hank returning from the mandatory Saturday Confession, removing his jacket and declaring to all..."whew, now I can sin again!". Hank was a long-time good friend from our early days in Jemez Springs. We enjoyed our association with him and remember fondly the many good times we had together. His greatest pride was his son, Nicholas, and daughter, Josephina. Our sympathies go out to them both.
