Hattie F. Armbrust, 89, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died Monday, September 5, 2011, at Pleasant Valley Living Center. She was born May 22, 1922, in Little Rock, a daughter of the late Martin J. and Mattie Armbrust. She was also preceded in death by eight brothers, Carl, Bernard, Paul, and Jake Armbrust; Ned, Andy, Roy and Horace Stafford.

Ms. Armbrust was a devout Christian. She made a career of child care for many families, in the Heights and Pleasant Valley areas.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Stafford of Little Rock and her nephew, Jack Holtzman of Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Oakland Cemetery, with The Reverend Holly Patton officiating. Arrangements are by Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home. 501-661-9111.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Pleasant Valley Living Center and Odyssey Hospice for their care and support.
