Haven M. Schaffner, 75, of Gratz, PA, passed away Saturday, June 11th, at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. Haven was born in Dalmatia, Pa. on September 4, 1935, a son of the late Linnie (Long) and Carmie Schaffner. He was a member of Simeon United Lutheran Church Gratz, and a member of the Gratz Fair Asso. He worked as a Laborer for the PA Game Commission
Haven is survived by a daughter, Vicky Bush. Haven is also survived by six sisters, Loyetta TroutmanJune LeitzelEthel ColemanDonna ReischSandy WitmerBarbra Strohecker, of Millmont; six brothers, Fairvin SchaffnerClyde SchaffnerSherwoood SchaffnerDerl SchaffnerDean SchaffnerNeil Schaffner. One grand daughter Sasha Schaffner. He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn (Sitlinger) Schaffner in 2010, one son Ricky Schaffner, a sister Melva Ditty, and by two brothers, Mark and Merle Schaffner.
