It is with great sadness that the family of Hazel Boasso Tarride announces her passing on January 28, 2012, at the age of 98. Mrs. Tarride was a native of New Orleans, resident of Metairie for many years, and for the past six years she has resided at Amber Terrace in Baton Rouge. While raising her family she co-founded Tarride Sales Inc. and was president of the company for 40 years. She is survived by her children, Theodore P. Tarride, Janice T. Fedorock (Kenneth Fedorock) and Sidney J. Tarride (Patricia D. Tarride); seven grand-children, Mark Tarride, Jeannemarie Pierson, Susan Redding, Karen Buongirono, Lisa Mocci, Christopher Tarride and Kenneth Tarride; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved caretaker, Rochelle Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Tarride; mother, Florence Wild Boasso; father and step-mother Sidney and Madeline Boasso; daughter-in-law, Jacquelyn VanM Tarride; brother, Lester Boasso and two sisters, Inez B. Badinger and Elaine B. Arrigo.
Relatives and friend are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. at 1:00 PM. Friends may visit after 11:00 AM. Interment in All Saint Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers please send donations to St. Philip Neri Church, 6500 Kawanee Ave, Metairie, LA 70003.
