Miss Hazel L. Chandler

Pickens – Miss Hazel Lucille Chandler, 80, of Pickens passed from this life Friday, September 16, 2011.

Miss Chandler was born in Pickens, a daughter of the late W. F. and Addie Lunette Swayngham Chandler. She was retired from the supply room at Mayfair Mills in Pickens and operated the Pickens Mill Store for many years. She was a member of East Pickens Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sister, Miss Mary E. Chandler of Pickens, nieces and nephews, Judy C. Ballard (Dick) of Easley, John D. Chandler (Martha) of Pickens and Jerry A. Chandler ( Sharon) of Seneca. Also surviving are seven great nieces and nephews and a number of great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 PM Monday, September 19, 2011 in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with The Reverend Jamie Duncan. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM Monday.
