Hazel Marie (Smith) Newton, age 90, of Loveland, OH. Born on July 6, 1922 in Milan, TN, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 7, 2013. Beloved wife of Joseph Herman Newton. Loving mother of Ken (Brenda) Newton and Joe Newton. Caring grandmother of Michael Newton, Ali Newton, Lauren Newton, Hannah Newton and Molly Newton. Proud great-grandmother of Jacob Newton, Libby Newton, Anni Newton and Lola Newton. Dear sister of the late Bud Smith, Jess Smith, Rachel Greer and Mary Ann Wilkinson. Cherished daughter of the late Oliver Price and Carrie Lee (Williamson) Smith. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends received at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, Friday, 6 - 8 PM. Services will be held at Branch Hill United Methodist Church, 370 Bridge St., Loveland, OH., Saturday, January 12, 10 AM. Internment, Rest Haven Memorial Park, Evendale, OH. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45140. Rev. Ed Fisher of Branch Hill United Methodist Church will be the presiding minister for Hazel's services.
