Mrs. Hazel Marie Scott

Hazel Marie Scott age 71 of Garland, Texas passed away May 1, 2011. Born April 29, 1941 to Kelly and Gladys Scott on in San Angelo, Texas. She was the seventh of ten children. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She attended school in the San Angelo Independent School District. She later moved to Dallas and worked for many years at the Regency Hotel.

She loved to take care of her pet doves; it gave her a relaxed peace of mind. She also found great joy in taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, cooking and shopping. She married Mr. Milton Applewhite In 2003.

She leaves to cherish her memory; one son, Alvin Scott, Sr.; two daughters, Venaice Bonner-Pyburn (Ruben) and Norma Bonner; three sisters, Bernadine Willis, Mary Kelly-Scott, Mattie Scott; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; one aunt, Bernice Wright; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; very special friends, G., Dan and Dennis. She was preceded in death by one son, Albert Scott; two daughters, Gladys Scott and Joann Scott.
