Helen C. Clay, was born October 18, 1921 to Frank and Cecelia Schmalzel. Peacefully she went to the Lord on January 17, 2012 at her residence in Long Beach, CA. Helen was predeceased by her son, Neal Clay and husband, Bill Clay. She is survived by her Children, Jean (Bo) Kreide, Christina (Edward) DeGiacomo, James (Netta) Clay, Patti (Nick) Harris, & daughter-in-law: Pamela Clay; 9 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren. In Lieu of Flowers the Clay family kindly ask donations be made to Our Lady of Refuge School, 5210 Los Coyotes Diagonal, Long Beach, CA 90815 in the name of Helen Clay. Reception immediately following interment at Our Lady of Refuge Church Hall Located on Sterns & Los Coyotes Diagonal, Long Beach, CA.
