Helen C. Clay

Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to the entire Clay family. It isn't easy loosing anyone, least of all a parent. She definitely is in a better place. God keep her.

I'm so glad I was able to spend time with Helen during the last Clay family Christmas party. She updated me on all her grand children and children. I could tell she was so close to all of them. It's so hard to see a generation pass on to Heaven. Thinking about Helen and Bill makes me realize how important family is. Grandma was an amazing woman. She was a role model to all of us. I remember when my brother, Alex and I were young we would visit her and Grandpa and we would sit in front of their toy cabinet forEVER and simply play with their Jack In The Box toy... Pop goes the weasel! It would last for hours of entertainment. As we got older and the Jack In The Box wore off, there was always the garden that

Grandma was an amazing woman. She was a role model to all of us. Pop goes the weasel! It would last for hours of entertainment. As we got older and the Jack In The Box wore off, there was always the garden that Grandma meticulously attended. The oranges from Grandma and Grandpa's orange tree were always SO incredibly tasty! How it was possible to never have a sour one... I guess I will never know.
Grandma was incredible, from her gardening skills, to her ability to fix any article of clothing that needed repair, to making grape jelly. She was a spitfire til her last breath and will always be remembered as the woman who did it all!
Grandma, you will be greatly missed. Love you.

Grandma was always a joy to be around. I remember visiting her when I was growing up and she would always show us how to play a new game. I will miss you grandma.

My mom was always there for us. As happens in many families, my relationship with her became closer as the years passed by. I will miss our 3 times per week dinners together. I am grateful for all the 59 years I had with her. Her influence with me will remain forever. I love you mom and I miss you. (Your son Neal and husband Bill have you back now.)

My mom lived a long blessed life. She was healthy and surrounded with love for 90 years and passed in her sleep without pain. I am comforted knowing my brother and dad are there to welcome her home. She will be missed dearly.
