Helen C. Elward, 99, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 at Bethlehem Woods Rehab Center. Born in Murray City, OH, Helen was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch and watching people pass by. She loved her family and cherished all her grandchildren. Surviving are her daughter Linda (Tony) Milewski, son, William (Paula) Elward both of Fort Wayne, grandchildren, Christopher (Debi) Milewski, Erin Elward both of Fort Wayne, Kimberly Milewski of Austin, TX, great grandchildren, Sean Luthy and Alexis Milewski both of Fort Wayne. Helen was preceded in death by parents, Daniel and Ella Wolf, husband Leo D. Elward, 3 sister and 1 brothers. Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00 AM, Friday, January 20, 2012 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with calling one hour prior, Fr. Gary Sigler officiating. Calling at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue Thursday, January 19, 2012 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a vigil service at 7:30 pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
