Helen Ruth Ray “Grandma” Davis, 88 of Sherwood, passed away November 15, 2009. She was born January 8, 1921 in Sparkman, Arkansas to Jess C. Ray and Ola Stubblefield Ray who preceded her in death, along with her husband, O.L. “Roy” Davis and brothers Wayne, Leon and Doyle Ray.

She is survived by her son Carl Sanders (Dorothy) of Little Rock, daughters Linda Johnson, Bryant and Sarah Mosley, (Bob) of Sherwood, grandsons Billy Sanders, Chuck Sanders (Teresa), Robert Johnson (Jenn), Clark Johnson (Gina), Michael Mosley (Tonya) and granddaughters Linda Jeffery (Dick), Sharon Miner (Ken), Rhonda King, Laura Klewicki (John), Karla Baker (Brian), Michele Beasley (Mike), 25 great- grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. She also is survived by sister Dorothy Neighbors of Little Rock, brother Hugh Ray (Marzette) of Dumas and her cookie jar buddy great-grand daughter Caroline Mosley.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at Orion Cemetery in Grant County (Redfield) by Reverend Dr. Michael Mattox. The family will receive friends during visitation on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home 7724 Landers Rd, NLR AR, www.griffinleggettresthills.com
