Helen Kellogg, age 83, of Canton passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012. She was born November 13, 1928 in Raven Rock, WV then graduated in 1946 from New Matamoras High School and attended Montana State University. Helen retired in 1980 from JC Penney Co., where she worked 22 years as a sales associate. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was involved with the Women's Society and Bible Study Group. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rachel Wooley and as a child was preceded by her father, Carroll Simpson. She was also preceded by her husband in 2009, Roy Kellogg, an infant son, Robert, and a sister, Mary Ann Roys. Survivors include three sons, Richard (Janie) Talbott of Navarre, OH, Roy (Nancy) Kellogg of Newark, OH, David (Renee) Kellogg of Canal Fulton, OH; a daughter, Judith (Ronald) Paczkowski of Lacrosse, WI. There are ten grandchildren, Heidi, Beth, Rick, Roy, Gregory, Chad, Rachel, Zachary, Allison and Ben as well as seven great grandchildren and a sister, Robert Rosener of Glen Ellen, IL as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 11am at Reed Funeral Home CANTON Chapel (705 Raff Rd SW, Canton). Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Wednesday from 10am to 11am. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
