Helen Hairfield Hill, 80, of the Lake Anna area of Spotsylvania County, died Saturday, May 2, 2009 at her residence.
Mrs. Hill was a native of Spotsylvania County and the daughter of the late, Clarence and Callie Hairfield. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Her husband, Mason W. Hill, preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sisters, Lorene H. Winder of Kilmarnock, Fern Elizabeth Hairfield of Fredericksburg, Faye H. Johnson and her husband, Dr. Edmund R. Johnson, of Williamsburg; four nieces; and her wonderful neighbors, the Godley family.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6 at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Adams officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Good Hope Baptist Church, 5602 Courthouse Road, Spotsylvania, Virginia, 22553, or SPCA, 10819 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22408.
