Helen “Joy” Lund Martin

Joy passed away on February 23, 2001, surrounded by her family and her sweetheart and eternal partner Harold J. Martin Jr. Joy was born on November 10, 1926 to Anthon H. and Aurelia M. Lund. She was raised in SLC and she and her sweetheart Harold graduated from East High. They together raised 6 boys. Harold and Joy were faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served 2 missions to Adam-Ondi-Ahman and Nauvoo. Their love for one another was unbreakable; we will miss her but know she is now with her heavenly father.

Joy is survived by her husband Harold, her sons, Randy, Steve (Lynn), Tony (Sally), Mike (Esther), Jeff (Jolene), Chris (Marcie) 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and a grandson Matthew Martin.

Viewing will be held at Mountain View Memorial Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah from 10:00 to Noon. Family remembrance from Noon to 1:00 pm, graveside service to follow. On line condolences may be sent to memorial@memorialutah.com.
