Mrs. Helen M. Chubb, 87, formally of Berrysburg, passed away Sunday, December 13th, 2009 peacefully at The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg, PA. Helen was born in Leck Kill, PA. on October 26, 1922, the daughter of the late Daniel and Silvia (Mattern) Heim.She was preceded in death by her husbands Roy Williard in 1963 and by Charles Chubb in 1997. She was a member of Simeon United Lutheran Church Gratz. A Former member of the Willing Workers of Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz, and the Daughters of America.

Helen is survived by a daughter, Elaine wife of Jerry Straub of Berrysburg, PA; by a sister, Ruth Bingeman of Ephrata, PA. She is also survived by one grandchild, two step sons, three step daughters and several step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Leon Heim; William Heim; and Marlin Heim.

Visitation will be Thursday 10-11AM. at James A. Reed Funeral Home, PIllow, PA. Religious Service at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, PA, at 11AM on Thursday, December 17th, with Rev. Barry Ridge officiating. Interment at Gratz Union Cemetery, Pa. Gratz, PA. www.reedfh.com
