Helen Schrand (Muller), 63, of Hemlock Drive, passed away Monday at South County Hospital. She was the beloved wife of George J. Schrand for 20 years.
Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, she was the daughter of Margaret (Lasher) Muller of Concord, NH and the late Walter Muller.
Mrs. Schrand was a fourth grade teacher in North Kingstown for 33 years before retiring.
She enjoyed golfing and knitting.
Besides her husband and mother, she leaves two brothers, Frank Muller of Concord, NH and Eugene Muller of Tucson, AZ; and three nieces.
Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 30, 2010 at 10am in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the American Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice will be appreciated.
