Helen Marie Passmore, 87, of Boron, CA, went home to the Lord June 24, 2011, at her home. She was born August 12, 1923, in Erie, PA, to proud parents Harry and Florence Spalding Smith. Helen grew-up in Tujunga, CA and was schooled in Verdugo Hills. She lived in Boron since October 1957. She was an avid Dodger baseball fan, and enjoyed gardening, crossword and Jumble puzzles.

She is survived by a son, Gary (and Debbie) Passmore, of Desert Lake, CA; a daughter, Marie (and John) Strupith, of Albany, OR; grandchildren, Brian, Frank and Daniel Strupith, Liz Hales and Linda Gonzales, and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford, her sister, 2 brothers, and a granddaughter.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at 10:00 AM, at Mojave Public Cemetery. Arrangements by Stickel Mortuary, Mojave, 661-824-2328, www.tributes.com
