Helen J. Orey, 92, of Hampton, IL died Monday, December 12, 2011 at Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf, IA.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to her family for a fund to be established.
Helen was born on March 14, 1919 to Pearl and Cora Elizabeth (Ervin) McCreary of Trenton, MO. She married Gilbert F. Orey on September 5, 1936 in Trenton, MO. He preceded her in death on March 29, 1994. Helen was an accomplished seamstress and homemaker. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother.
